I have recently started to dabble into some augmented reality (AR) that runs on web technologies – HTML5, JavaScript, WebGL, GLSL, Three.js, WebRTC etc. Using a webcam, the user can place black-and-white encoded AR markers into the view to set up a scene and eventually flood it. I have also came up with the idea of “GUI markers” which allows the user to control the user interface using markers. Below is a screen recording of the demo running in Chrome. This project is fully open sourced and is available online for you to try it out. For more information, please visit the Interactive HTML5 Augmented Reality Flood Simulation page. |
