Community Voting Prize In Intel Havok Physics Contest
SECTION MENU

My soft body physics tutorial just won the Community Voting Prize for the Best Physics Knowledge Base Entry category of the Intel Havok Physics Contest. The prize is a US$100 VISA gift card, and is given to the entry with the highest rating at the end of each month. I won the prize for the month of January 2009.

This is the second prize that I have won so far with my soft body physics tutorial, and I am eagerly waiting for the main results of the Best Physics Knowledge Base Entry category. Wish me luck!

I am a Senior Technical Director with strong interests in both tech and art. My life evolves round VFX, photography, software engineering, tools programming and generally anything that looks / sounds cool.
I have done a variety of CG programming, including fluid sims, muscles, soft/rigid bodies, raytracing etc. These knowledge complement the visual works that I do as a TD in VFX.
I was interviewed by The Straits Times in May 2014 for my VFX work in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
